Nicholas Castellanos Homers in Loss
5 years agoTurning out to be one of the best deals of the trade deadline, Chicago Cubs Nicholas Castellanos provided the only offense that the Cubs could muster on Friday night, hitting a solo home run in a 7-1 loss against the Brewers. Castellanos gave Chicago a brief lead, putting the Cubs up 1-0 when he parked a 88 MPH cutter from Zach Davies 387-feet in the third inning, and also added two stolen bases later in the game (as well as being caught twice). The home run was his 12th as a Cub and Castellanos is now slashing .338/.369/.684 in his 145 plate appearances since joining the Northsiders.
