5 years agoHouston Astros starter Justin Verlander will be looking to deliver an encore after throwing a no-hitter in his last start when he takes the mound on Saturday against the Mariners. Verlander (17-5) now has 61 strikeouts over his last 41 1/3 innings pitched and continues to dominate the competition. Verlander is allowing opponents to hit only .166 against him this season and currently is posting a career-best 0.77 WHIP. He has allowed three or fewer runs in 24 of his 29 starts this season and will be an excellent DFS play against the hapless Mariners on Saturday.--Joey C - RotoBaller
