5 years agoDenver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay may have been hurt by the Oakland Raiders decision to release Antonio Brown on Saturday. Heading into the season, the Broncos coaching staff has been adamant that there would be more of a timeshare between Lindsay and Royce Freeman. Lindsay averaged 5.4 yards per carry last year and figured to get the bulk of the work in the receiving game due to his ability as a pass-catcher. With Brown no longer on the Raiders and the team dealing with plenty of chaos, the Broncos Defense is more likely to keep the Oakland offense in check, giving the Broncos a good chance to build a lead and rotate their backs more. Lindsay still has upside as an RB3 in season-long leagues, but he should be avoided in DFS in what is possibly the most confusing matchup of the entire week.--Eric Samulski - RotoBaller
