5 years agoWashington Redskins running back Derrius Guice (knee) had an MRI on his non-repaired knee Monday, and he's likely to miss some time. The hope is he can avoid surgery. He only gained 18 yards on 10 carries in Week 1. Running back Adrian Peterson was a healthy scratch last week, and he should step in for a decent role with Chris Thompson running on third downs and in receiving spots. Peterson should be picked up off waivers, but he's not a good start against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 2.--Ryan Dodson
