5 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Corey Dickerson (foot) left the game Wednesday night against the Braves with an apparent injury. X-rays on the foot were negative but Dickerson will undergo further testing Thursday. According to Meghan Montemurro, the injury was left foot soreness and Dickerson has been dealing with it since a series last week in Cincinnati. Dickerson said he's been grinding through the injury with the Phillies trying to make a push for the playoffs but will see what the team doctors say Thursday. Dickerson should be considered day-to-day for now, though it sounds unlikely he'll be in the lineup tonight against Julio Teheran and the Braves.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
