Rougned Odor Continues Hot September
5 years agoTexas Rangers second baseman Rougned Odor went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer in a win over the Rays on Wednesday. It was Odor's third home run in his past four games, as the streaky infielder seems to be getting hot again at the right time for fantasy owners. Odor is batting .333 with a 1.239 OPS so far in September after batting just .144 in August. Odor is fine as a hot-hand play in deep leagues for owners trying to make one last push for home runs and RBI, but a 30.3 percent strikeout rate and .203 batting average for the season make him a risky play and someone who can be avoided in standard mixed leagues.
