Ronny Rodriguez Back Hitting Cleanup
5 years agoDetroit Tigers infielder Ronny Rodriguez, after sitting Tuesday's game and Wednesday's postponement, is playing second base and batting cleanup in the first game of a doubleheader against the New York Yankees Thursday. Rodriguez has some pop but is an overall quite bad MLB hitter with a .220/.248/.451 slash line this season. He is not a DFS play to chase against Yankee starter J.A. Happ, who appears to be turning his season around with 12 1/3 scoreless innings in two starts against Oakland and Boston so far this September.
