Browns Defense a Strong Play Against Darnold-Less Jets
5 years agoThe Cleveland Browns Defense was lit up for 43 points in their Week 1 loss to the Tennessee Titans. While the final score wasn't pretty, the defense played better than it shows as three second-half interceptions, including a pick-six, gave the Titans excellent field position throughout the contest. Cleveland should bounce back against the New York Jets on Monday night. The Jets are forced to start journeyman backup quarterback Trevor Siemian as starter Sam Darnold will be out with mono. Look for the Browns to tee off on Siemian and a Jets offensive line that allowed the Buffalo Bills to rack up four sacks in Week 1. Treat Cleveland as a top-six defense in fantasy in Week 2.
