5 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout (foot) remains out of the lineup as the team prepares to take on the Rays on Saturday. Trout has not played since September 7 and his status continues to be day-to-day. For fantasy owners, this is devastating news as the best offensive player in the game cannot produce during the fantasy playoffs. The hope is Trout will be able to return this season but, with the Angels out of the playoff race, the scenario of shutting Trout down for the season is becoming more plausible by the day.--Joey C - RotoBaller
