Adrian Peterson Neutralized By Cowboys
5 years agoWashington Redskins running back Adrian Peterson opened the scoring in Week 2's loss to the Cowboys, but an early touchdown was the extent of his production for the day. He rushed 10 times for just 25 yards. The Redskins, who lived and died by the run in 2018, have now gotten a combined 43 rushing yards in two games from their workhorse backs. Derrius Guice was shut down by the Eagles in Week 1, and the Cowboys held Peterson in check on Sunday. Washington's next opponent is the Bears, who figure to present an equally difficult challenge. As such, Peterson's Week 3 outlook isn't especially promising.
