ANALYSIS: It's the first time in his career that Randall Cobb isn't in a Packers uniform. However, his new offense might be just as good of a situation for the converted college quarterback. Through two games, Cobb has been his same old efficient self, hauling in nine of his 11 targets for 93 yards and a score.

His teammate Michael Gallup (knee) is slated to miss two to four weeks. However, Cobb's role in the slot shouldn't change as he's never been an outside wide receiver. He also adds some value in the return game, which gives him a small bump in leagues that honor those stats.

In PPR formats, the 29-year-old is a very safe, never sexy flex option. With Gallup out for the next few weeks, Cobb should see an immediate uptick in targets. His average of 3.5 Targeted Air Yards is a great safety blanket for Dak Prescott. If your own team is looking for a safety net, it doesn't get much safer than Cobb.
