5 years agoPitching for the first time in 2019 after injuring his shoulder on March 5, New York Yankees starter Luis Severino had a successful return on Tuesday night as the Yankees defeated the Angels 8-0. Severino pitched four scoreless innings, allowing only two singles and walking two. Throwing 47 of his 67 pitches for strikes, Severino reached 98.9 MPH on the gun and lines up for his next start at home against the Blue Jays on Sunday. Many owners who've kept him stashed all year will have a tough decision on whether to start the Yankees ace on what will be the last day of the year for many leagues.--Nicklaus Gaut - RotoBaller
