Jamison Crowder A Flex Option On Sunday
5 years agoNew York Jets wide receiver Jamison Crowder will look to bounce back Sunday against the Patriots after the Browns held him in check Monday night. Crowder had a whopping 14 catches in Week 1, but was held to just four receptions for 40 yards Monday night and now faces a tough road matchup with third-string QB Luke Falk set to make his first NFL start for New York. The good news for Crowder is All-Pro cornerback Stephon Gilmore should cover Robby Anderson leaving Crowder and running back Le'Veon Bell as the primary short-yardage targets Falk will throw to heavily playing behind a suspect offensive line. Crowder is unlikely to score, but he should see plenty of targets which give him flex appeal in PPR formats.
