5 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston put his team in position to win with a strong outing Sunday, but it was ultimately not enough as kicker Matt Gay missed a 34-yard field goal at the end of the game to hand the Giants the win. Winston had very little problem moving the ball against the Giants, completing 23-of-37 pass attempts for 380 yards and three touchdowns while getting picked once on the day. It was a solid performance for the 25-year-old, but it wasn't exactly the hardest test to pass. Week 4 presents a much harder challenge with the Los Angeles Rams on deck. Winston can be considered a middle-of-the-road QB2 option heading into that Week 4 matchup.--Joseph Magazzinich
