5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starter Hyun-Jin Ryu allowed three runs on six hits across seven innings of work during Sunday's 7-4 win over the Colorado Rockies. He struck out eight batters without issuing a walk. Ryu also hit his first career home run in the contest. The 32-year-old is putting the finishing touches on a stellar season that has seen him record a 13-5 record, 2.41 ERA, 1.02 WHIP, and 156/24 K/BB rate. He had a dismal August but has been a bonafide ace in every other month. It is unclear whether he will get another start before the regular season ends, but if he does, it will come against the San Francisco Giants.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
