5 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Brad Miller went 2-for-4 with two home runs Tuesday night at Washington. Miller got the scoring started with a three-run homer off Nationals starter Max Scherzer in the first inning, before launching a solo homer in the fourth. It was the first time Scherzer gave up two home runs to the same player since Travis D'Arnaud on April 28, 2017. Miller also went 1-for-3 in the first game of the doubleheader before getting ejected so it was an eventful day for the veteran utilityman. He'll look to stay hot Wednesday against right-hander Anibal Sanchez.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
