5 years agoHow pleased owners are with Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones likely depends upon the format in which he’s rostered. During Thursday’s loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, Jones was smothered as a rusher, carrying the ball 13 times for 21 yards with a high of seven yards. He was able to sneak into the end zone for Green Bay’s first score in the first quarter, but it was his pass-catching ability that ultimately made his outing solid for PPR owners. After collecting six receptions over the first three weeks combined, Jones hauled in six passes (on seven targets) and recorded 37 yards through the air. It may not have been pretty, but Jones finished with another impressive night, proving himself a vital part of the offense leading into a Week 5 showdown with Dallas, who allowed a rushing touchdown each of the first two weeks of the year.--Jesse Borek
