Davante Adams Racks Up 180 Receiving Yards, Injures Toe
5 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams continued his touchdown drought during Thursday’s loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, but that far from precluded him from having an elite fantasy outing. Adams hauled in 10 receptions for a career-high 180 yards, completely in sync with quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Unfortunately, Adams suffered a right toe injury, which he deemed turf toe-like, which would certainly raise questions around his availability for the team’s Week 5 matchup against the Cowboys. Adams’ absence would give additional fantasy value to wideouts Geronimo Allison and Marquez Valdes-Scantling, who would likely benefit from Rodgers needing to spread out the workload. Owners relying on Adams will have to wait to hear more in the upcoming week about an official diagnosis.
