Rex Burkhead Touches Ball Once In Buffalo
5 years agoNew England Patriots running back Rex Burkhead made one catch for seven yards and didn't have a carry in a win at the Bills. Burkhead was a game-time decision with a foot injury, but was deemed healthy enough to play. Despite being in uniform, Burkhead was seldom used as the Patriots offense struggled to move the ball against a stout Bills Defense. Last week, with James White inactive, Burkhead had 11 carries and seven targets but today took a back seat to Sony Michel's 17 carries in the run game and White's 10 targets in the passing game. He's worth owning in fantasy in case his role increases, but as long as Michel and White are active Burkhead will be hard to trust in fantasy lineups.
