Paul Richardson Disappoints In Favorable Matchup
5 years agoWashington Redskins wide receiver Paul Richardson had all the makings of a week-winning fantasy play coming into Sunday's matchup with the Giants. New York had been one of the league's worst pass defenses, Terry McLaurin was inactive, and Case Keenum had thrown multiple touchdown passes in each of the Redskins' first three games. In the cruel and unforgiving world of fantasy football, this translated into three catches for 14 yards on five targets for Richardson. Richardson is not to blame, as the Redskins committed more turnovers than they scored points, but this performance just further amplifies how unpredictable the receiver's fantasy output is on a weekly basis. His Week 5 opponent is the Patriots, once again rendering him a bench occupant at best on fantasy rosters.
