BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team PPR Leagues
OWNED IN: 18% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Houston Texans wide receiver Keke Coutee has been nearly invisible this season, with former Dolphin Kenny Stills coming over via a trade just before the season and quickly establishing himself as Houston's third receiver.
But Stills is dealing with a hamstring issue and his status right now is up in the air, which leaves an opening for the talented but sometimes forgotten Coutee to make his mark.
Coutee appeared in six games as a rookie, catching 28 passes for 287 yards and a touchdown. He added a new wrinkle to Houston's offense with his ability to be a weapon out of the slot and to get involved on jet sweeps.
But injuries have limited Coutee so far in the NFL, and after missing Week 1, his 2019 stats look bleak: three catches for 18 yards and a 10-yard run. Still, if Stills misses time, Coutee should be in line to earn a significant bump in playing time, which should lead to opportunities for him to make things happen in the short passing game. At his best, Coutee is a strong checkdown and/or safe option for quarterback Deshaun Watson to look for, and he's got the speed to make positive plays without needing to have a high ADOT to help boost his yardage. Coutee should be worth a roster spot in PPR leagues until Stills returns.
