5 years agoToronto Maple Leafs forward Ilya Mikheyev rounded out the scoring for his team in a 5-3 victory over the Ottawa Senators. It was Mikheyev's first career NHL goal after spending the last five seasons in the KHL with Avangard Omsk. Mikheyev showed offensive growth throughout his career in Russia and should prove to be a huge depth addition to the Maple Leafs lineup. Mikheyev added an assist and would be named the third star of the game to round a memorable debut. --Nate Duffett
