5 years agoArizona Coyotes goaltender Darcy Kuemper will open the season as the team's starting netminder, with Antti Raanta (lower body) nursing an injury. With the Finn out for most of 2018-19, Kuemper had a breakthrough year, putting together a 27-20-8 record with a 2.33 goals-against average and .925 save percentage. The Saskatoon-born goalie has just signed a new two-year deal with the club with an average annual salary of $4.5 million. He's in a decent spot to make a winning start to the year, with Arizona visiting the toothless Ducks, who scored a league-low 2.39 goals per game last season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
