5 years agoJacksonville Jaguars quarterback Gardner Minshew faces a Panthers Defense in Week 5 that's allowing the sixth-fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks and held Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson to no touchdowns and under 200 yards passing in Week 4. That's not a great sign for Minshew's fantasy viability, and he's a low-end QB2 at best in this matchup. Outside of two-quarterback leagues, it's hard to find a convincing argument for playing Minshew that can be backed up with statistical evidence.
