Odell Beckham Jr. a WR1 in Week 5
5 years agoCleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is coming off of a slow Week 4 performance that saw him catch just two passes for 20 yards in a 40-25 win over the Baltimore Ravens. He took a back seat in the game to Jarvis Landry, who had a career afternoon. In fact, both of Beckham's catches came in the fourth quarter after Landry had checked out of the game with a concussion. Beckham will look to bounce back against the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night in Week 5. San Francisco has been tough against enemy wide receivers this season, ranking second in pass defense DVOA. That being said, Beckham did score twice when he faced off against San Francisco in Week 10 last season. Despite his slow recent performance and the tough matchup, Beckham is simply too talented to be treated as anything other than a WR1 in fantasy leagues.
