5 years agoWashington Redskins running back Adrian Peterson is averaging 2.7 yards per carry, and his next opponent is a Patriots squad surrendering just 61.3 rushing yards per game. The overall ineptitude of the Redskins offense forecasts another rough outing for Peterson against a New England defense that has permitted one offensive touchdown in the first month of the season.
