Robby Anderson A High-Risk, High Reward Play Sunday
5 years agoNew York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson has struggled to start the season, but faces a good matchup Sunday in Philadelphia. Anderson has had four catches or less in all three of his games this year and had 23 yards or less twice. Part of that can be blamed on the Jets QB situation which got more interesting this week when starter Sam Darnold (mono) returned to practice, only to not be cleared by team doctors. That means Anderson will catch passes from Luke Falk again who has had a hard time throwing the ball downfield, something Anderson needs in order to show his big-play ability. Despite the difficult offensive situation, the Eagles allow the most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers putting Anderson in the boom-or-bust WR3 conversation in fantasy.
