5 years agoNew York Jets running back Ty Montgomery is looking to get on the field more after the team's Week 4 bye. Montgomery has played less than 20 percent of the team's offensive snaps and has been out-touched by Le'Veon Bell 76-10. In the preseason, head coach Adam Gase said the Jets would not give Bell as much work as he got in Pittsburgh, but that has not been the case so far with Bell handling 96.3 percent of the offensive snaps. It's possible the early bye week made it easier for the Jets to feature Bell early and Gase will operate more of a split moving forward. However, even if Montgomery starts to see more work he is the clear number two in this backfield and his only fantasy value is a handcuff to Bell.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
