Packers Defense Notches Trio Of Interceptions, Sacks
5 years agoThe Green Bay Packers Defense was all over the stat sheet during Sunday’s win over the Dallas Cowboys. While the secondary yielded 463 passing yards to Dak Prescott, the group managed to sack Dallas’ signal caller on three occasions, as well as intercepting him thrice, as well. Despite the daunting matchup of facing elite running back Ezekiel Elliott, Green Bay’s early lead limited the back to just 12 carries in which he accrued 62 yards. While the overall statistics are gaudy, the Packers’ defense held pat. They remain a solid, but not flashy fantasy option heading into a Week 6 matchup with Detroit, who is averaging 24.3 points per game.
