5 years agoThe Rays took game three from the Astros, hitting four home runs and giving Zack Greinke a bad day. Justin Verlander is pitching on three days rest, so they obviously see the Rays as a real threat here. As Verlander explained in his press conference, you don't want to mess around and let a team take you to five. This is baseball and bad things can happen quickly. This gives the Astros Verlander and Cole in games four and five, which has to make Rays' fans stomach turn. I doubt Verlander goes over 100 pitches on such short rest, but could very easily get to seven innings in that time.--RotoBaller
