Paul Goldschmidt Opens Up Game 4 with First Inning Home Run, Goes 3-for-4
5 years agoGoldy was an assassin at the plate today, going 3-for-4 with a walk and two runs scored. He opened up the scoring with a home run off of Dallas Keuchel in the first inning, and was followed by Marcell Ozuna for back-to-back jacks. Goldschmidt has been one of the best hitters in baseball against lefties for a decade now, so this was no surprise. This Cardinals team has heart and they obviously weren't ready to go home yet.
