5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers infielder Max Muncy hit a two-run home run in the first inning of the Dodgers 7-3 extra-inning loss to the Nationals in Game 5 of the NLDS. Muncy capped off a fantastic series with a bang right out of the gate, staking the Dodgers to an early 2-0 lead. The team couldn't hold it for nine innings, but Muncy finishes the series slashing .263/.391/.737 with three home runs and seven runs batted in. There was no sophomore slump this season for Muncy, and he heads into the offseason as a legitimate fantasy asset moving forward.--Joey C - RotoBaller
