Devlin Hodges To Make First Career Start
5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers quarterback Devlin Hodges will start Sunday night's game against the LA Chargers. The team announced Friday that Mason Rudolph (concussion) will not play after the scary hit he took last Sunday. Hodges, the rookie from Samford, completed seven of nine passes for 68 yards in backup duty against the Ravens in Week 5. On the road against the Chargers, Hodges will have his hands full against a defense that has allowed just 19.6 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks. He's nothing but an absolute desperation play, as there is a good chance this is a one-week start before their Week 7 bye.
