5 years agoNew Orleans Saints running back Latavius Murray missed practice for a personal reason and will play on Sunday. The 29-year-old has averaged 3.9 yards per carry on 24 rushing attempts this season and has caught six of seven targets. He could see an increased role on Sunday. Murray was given at least 15 touches in four games last year and gained over 80 scrimmage yards in three of them. He could be looking at that type of role this Sunday, as starter Alvin Kamara (ankle) is questionable. The Saints get a Jaguars Defense that was just gashed for 237 scrimmage yards by Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey. Murray is at least a flex option on Sunday and could be an RB2 if Kamara sits.--Tim Capurso
