5 years agoDetroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford faces a tough test in Week 7 with a stout Minnesota Vikings secondary coming to town. These teams know each other well, and that may play against Stafford this week. In two games against the Vikings last season Stafford was only able to muster up 315 yards with no touchdowns, not exactly confidence-inspiring. Couple that with the fact that the Lions have eased off the pass since Week 1, with Stafford eclipsing 32 attempts just once since that time, and you have the recipe for a subpar performance from the Lions signal-caller. Stafford will slot in as a mid-tier QB2 in this matchup.--Joseph Magazzinich
