5 years agoOttawa Senators goaltender Anders Nilsson played out of his mind Thursday night at Vegas, but his efforts weren't enough for the team in an eventual 3-2 shootout loss. The Swede saved 52 of 54 shots in the contest, recording a .963 save percentage. Unfortunately for the Sens, it looked like Nilsson had no saves left for the shootout as he was beaten three times. Craig Anderson remains the undisputed No. 1 in Ottawa, but Nilsson was hugely impressive here and that could lead to some more starts in the upcoming games.
