5 years agoWashington Nationals infielder Asdrubal Cabrera went 2-for-5 with one run scored and three runs batted in as the Nationals blew out the Astros 12-3 in Game 2 of the World Series. The veteran blew the game open in the Nationals six-run seventh inning, smacking a bases loaded single that plated two runs. Cabrera then tallied another RBI-single in his next at-bat in the eighth inning and the Nationals now have a 2-0 lead in the series. Cabrera is now 3-for-9 through the first two games of the World Series as the action now moves to Washington for three games beginning Friday.--Joey C - RotoBaller
