5 years agoNew Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas should maintain his usual high floor despite perhaps his toughest cornerback matchup yet in Week 8. The 26-year-old receiver will square off with eight-time Pro-Bowler Patrick Peterson, who made his return to the field last week against the New York Giants. Thomas comes into the contest averaging a healthy 11 targets per game and currently leads the league in catches and receiving yards. He'll likely be shadowed by Peterson on the outside but could occasionally move to the slot, away from Peterson. The Saints' passing game should find success in this one, considering the Cardinals' defense ranks 25th against the pass this year. Thomas is a must-start WR1.--Tim Capurso
