FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (10/28/19): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

After a solid weekend of DFS hoops, we have 11 games on the agenda to kick off the first full week of the season. With a handful of contests projected to have a combined score between 222 and 225 points, pace, rotations, injuries, and spread become even bigger factors in selecting your lineup on Monday night. Jeremy Lamb, Otto Porter, Mitchell Robinson, Joel Embiid, Alex Len, Kevon Looney, Jrue Holiday, Zach Collins, and Ricky Rubio are either in danger of not playing or have already been ruled out. Keep an eye on these guys throughout the day and plan accordingly.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 10/28/19. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Russell Westbrook - PG, vs. OKC ($10,900)

Westbrook needs to be in everyone's lineup on Monday as he will be going up against his former squad in what will be labeled as a revenge game. Regardless of who Russ is up against, however, the guy has been too good to be ignored. He will likely hit a triple-double in this one, and with so many injuries on Monday night, there will be a value play available to help offset the cost to acquire his services.

Trae Young - PG, vs. PHI ($9,400)

Young is averaging nearly 60 fantasy points throughout the first two games of the year, and just like Russell Westbrook, he should be strongly considered during this 11-game slate. Ben Simmons will make things a little more complicated, but for a guy who should be priced above $10,000, this bargain is simply too good to pass up.

D'Angelo Russell - SG, @ NOP ($7,600)

After scoring six points on Sunday night against OKC before getting ejected, Russell should be rested and ready to roll in a game that is projected to be the highest-scoring game on the slate. When you consider his price in relation to his ceiling, Russell has the potential to hit his value (at minimum) against the Pelicans.

 

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Pascal Siakam - SF, vs. ORL ($8.700)

After a productive first two games of the season, Siakam fizzled out against the Bulls by recording 31.2 fantasy points. In his defense, the Raptors were on the second of a back-to-back, so with a few days of rest, he should be back to normal against the Magic at home.

Kevin Love - PF, @ MIL ($8,500)

Love looked good in the first game of the season by putting up 11 boards and an impressive 18 rebounds against the Magic for a 38.1 fantasy point performance. Just when you thought it couldn't get any better, he followed that up with a 21-point, 13-rebound performance against the Pacers that included 60 percent shooting from behind the arc. With a few games in the books, Love is slowly creeping up to the $9,000 range, which may be too expensive, but for now, keep him rolling.

Tobias Harris - SF, @ ATL ($7,800)

With Joel Embiid on the shelf on Saturday against the Pistons while dealing with a sprained ankle, Harris stepped up by recording 29 points on 10-for-15 shooting from the field to go along with an efficient 4-for-6 night from behind the arc. He is generously priced regardless of Embiid's availability, but if he is indeed out once again, Harris is a no-brainer on Monday night.

 

FanDuel DFS Centers

Tristan Thompson - C, @ MIL ($6,600)

Thompson has accumulated a double-double in each of the team's first two games of the season. He continues to play a healthy amount of minutes in addition to averaging a career-high 13.5 field goal attempts per game. On a night where there are some expensive options at the five spot, Thompson is underpriced based on his recent performances as of late.
