5 years agoHouston Astros designated hitter Yordan Alvarez will make an appearance in the outfield as the rookie will start and hit sixth in Game 5 of the World Series. Alvarez has not played the field at all during the postseason but it is all hands on deck for this crucial game with the series tied 2-2. Alvarez has come off the bench to pinch-hit the past two games without the team's ability to use the DH. The phenom went 3-for-6 in the first two games of the series and slashed .317/.424/.658 against right-handed pitching during the regular season.
