Eric Staal Notches Two Points In Loss To Stars
5 years agoMinnesota Wild center Eric Staal scored a power-play goal and added an even-strength assist during Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Dallas Stars. The 35-year-old has enjoyed remarkable success with the Wild since joining the team ahead of the 2016-17 season. He is currently leading the team in scoring with eight points in 12 games and continues to be leaned upon in all situations. He is a valid fantasy asset in the majority of formats despite being part of one of the league's most anemic offenses. Jason Zucker and Ryan Suter also scored in the contest for the Wild. They will look to rebound in their next game against the St. Louis Blues on Wednesday.
