5 years agoChicago Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky's season, and perhaps career, will be on the line this Sunday against the Eagles in Week 9. The Bears are 3-4 and cannot afford to lose many more games if they have plans on keeping up in the NFC playoff race. Furthermore, Trubisky's season has gone so poorly that his leash as starter is growing shorter by the day. He will go up against an Eagles Defense that is allowing the 13th most fantasy points to opposing passers this season. Trubisky showed improved play in Week 8, despite two costly turnovers, by throwing for 253 yards and five completions of 20-plus yards. The Bears struggled in the red zone but the Eagles defense ranks 22nd in red zone defense. Trubisky could conceivably post his best fantasy line of the season in Week 9. Or he could be looking at losing his starting job in the near future if he cannot perform.--Joey C - RotoBaller
