5 years agoDetroit Lions wide receiver Marvin Jones fell back to earth in Week 8 after posting a 10-catch, four-touchdown performance against the Vikings in Week 7. Jones caught the ball four times for a measly 22 yards against the Giants last week, with his five targets sitting just below his season average. Jones will have his weeks, but consistency is too much to ask for with Golladay hanging around. Jones faces a horrendous Raiders secondary in Week 9 who have given up the third-most 40-plus yard passing plays in the league this season, so he may be able to do some damage in this one in what should be another high scoring affair for the Lions. Jones will slot in as a high-end WR3 this week.--Joseph Magazzinich
