Zack Greinke Goes 6 1/3 Innings in Game 7 Loss
5 years agoThis has to hurt for Houston Astros starting pitcher Zack Greinke, who pitched six amazing innings before Anthony Rendon took him deep in the seventh inning in Game 7 of the World Series on Wednesday. Juan Soto followed with a walk before Greinke was pulled for reliever Will Harris. Harris proceeded to give up a home run, and it took everything that Greinke worked so hard for away in a second. He still had a phenomenal performance and shut down this great Nationals lineup for six innings. Greinke certainly still has it in the tank and gave this Astros team every chance to win this Game 7.
