Anthony Rendon Opens Scoring For Nats in Game 7
5 years agoThe Nationals were quiet up until the seventh inning, when Anthony Rendon missiled a changeup over the left-field fence. That’s when it all unraveled for the Astros, al they gave up a walk to Juan Soto and a home run to Howie Kendrick to follow. Who knows what would have happened if Rendon never connected on that changeup. Soto and Kendrick certainly don’t see the same pitches and we may have a different WS Champion this morning. Rendon put this lineup on his back throughout the postseason and is going to see a ginormous paycheck this offseason. Business as usual for Rendon, who casually sported a .400+ wOBA against both lefties and righties this season.
