Patrick Corbin Pitches Three Scoreless Innings in Relief
5 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Patrick Corbin was phenomenal for the Nationals on Wednesday in Game 7 of the World Series and was a big reason they won this game. While the Nationals were making their comeback, Corbin was quietly sitting down the Astros and keeping them off the bases. Through three innings, he allowed just two hits while striking out three. He got the recorded win and will forever be in the World Series history books. Corbin proved versatile this series and deserves every bit of praise for this victory. Rejoice Nationals fans!
