5 years agoIt was a quiet night at the plate for Houston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman in Game 7 of the World Series on Wednesday, but he had a solid series overall. He did walk, but it never led to anything productive. Scherzer had his number early and Patrick Corbin kept him quiet late with a weak groundout. It’s a disappointing finish to an illustrious season for Bregman, who deserves to finish second to Mike Trout in American League MVP voting. The Astros will likely be back to this series a couple of times in the next five seasons.--RotoBaller
