FanDuel DFS Guards
Kyrie Irving - PG, BKN vs. HOU ($10,300)
Before we even get started, we have to get this elephant in the room out of the way. This game between the Rockets and Nets is sitting at a ridiculous 241 over/under with just a four-point spread. There are going to be a ton of fantasy points scored in this game and you want as much exposure as possible. At point guard, it’ll be Kyrie Irving trying to stay with the combo of Harden and Westbrook. Kyrie has been over 50 fantasy points in all but one game and has been over 60 twice. He’s going to have the best season of his career in Brooklyn and I don’t think anyone on the Rockets will stop him. He’s been unstoppable these first four games and I expect another 60 fantasy points to keep the Nets in the game.
James Harden - SG, HOU @ BKN ($11,200)
I just want to make sure you know how much I love this game. It’s the highest total of the season up to this point and a game we should be targeting from every angle. If you can fit James Harden, we may be looking at another 70+ fantasy point performance. The Nets don’t have any perimeter defenders that make a difference and their rim protection is terrible. You can make both studs from this game work as there is plenty of value to love.
Jordan Poole - SG, GSW vs. SA ($3,800)
With Stephen Curry out, Jordan Poole figures to step in and play a huge role. With Curry active, Poole still saw over 20 minutes in every game. He should now be over 30 minutes in a match-up with a Spurs team that doesn’t cover guards well. Poole is near min-price and one of the safest values on the slate. Damion Lee is interesting as well.
FanDuel DFS Forwards
Domantas Sabonis - PF, IND vs. CLE ($8,800)
With Myles Turner expected to miss a few games, Domantas Sabonis will be locked into 32+ minutes and becomes one of the top plays on the slate. When he gets over 30 minutes, it’s a near-lock for 45 to 55 fantasy points. He’s one of the best pure rebounders in basketball and will be dueling with K-Love and Thompson down low. Sabonis is my favorite play at power forward and it’s not close. The Pacers will be leaning on Sabonis with Turner unavailable.
T.J. Warren - SF, IND vs. CLE ($6,300)
We’re spending plenty of money on that HOU-BKN game, so we have to save some somewhere. T.J. Warren has looked a lot more like himself these past two games, eclipsing 30 fantasy points in both. The Cavaliers run the floor a ton and Warren thrives in the open court. His value comes from peripherals and open threes, which is exactly what the Cavaliers give up best. With Myles Turner also our, we will see Domantas at the 5 and Warren will get an extra few minutes at the four.
FanDuel DFS Centers
Clint Capela - C, HOU @ BKN ($8,300)
I love Capela in this game that should be up and down all night. The Nets have Allen and Jordan at center, and neither will be able to stop the pick and roll of Capela and Harden/Westbrook. Capela has quite the luxuries on his hands with two of the best PnR passers in the league. A double-double is a lock and this could be one of those 50+ fantasy point games for Capela. They happened plenty last season and if he can stay out of foul trouble, I see him having a huge game here.
