Austin Ekeler Steady In PPR Formats
5 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler has really taken a backseat with the return of Melvin Gordon to the backfield. He has eight rushes for 10 yards the last two weeks, but he has also caught nine balls for 137 yards and two touchdowns in that span. The Green Bay Packers are a midrange matchup, but they haven't allowed backs too much through the air. Running backs are averaging fewer than four grabs for 28 yards in the last five games with one total score through the air. Ekeler will test that as a good RB2 in point-per-reception formats, but he falls to flex status otherwise.
