Jaylen Samuels Catches 13 Passes In Week 9
5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Samuels rushed for just 10 yards on eight carries, while catching 13 passes for 73 yards in Sunday’s win over the Indianapolis Colts. Samuels was very busy in the passing game for Pittsburgh, and did a great job creating space after the catch, however he did fumble in the fourth quarter. Interestingly enough, he was out-rushed by Trey Edmunds, who totaled 71 yards on 10 carries, but Samuels proved he’s worthy of a big role in the offense when he has a solidified opportunity. Unfortunately for him, his usage is directly correlated to Conner’s availability. If the second-year back from NC State is the starter again in Week 10, he’ll be another RB2 in PPR formats in a matchup against the LA Rams.
